Where this comes from

You feel it before you can name it.

The mental load that never fully sets down. The invisible list of what everyone needs, what's due, what's forgotten, what's next. You're managing everyone's world, and somewhere along the way your own got quieter.

And every year, right when you're already running on empty, the holidays show up and ask for more.

it's possible β€”

What if this year you walked into the holidays steady and regulated?

A small, closed group for moms of school-age kids, blending practical DBT skills with art-based processing β€” no art experience needed. Faith-informed, offered with warmth, never preached.

What the weeks hold

The 6 weeks

1

Naming the overwhelm

Externalize the invisible mental load β€” no shame, just an honest map of what you're carrying.

2

Making sense of the emotional swings

DBT tools for regulating what feels unpredictable, without judging yourself for feeling it.

3

Riding out the chaos

Distress tolerance skills for the moments that used to knock you flat.

4

Who am I outside of mom?

Reconnecting with the parts of your identity caregiving has quietly buried.

5

Boundaries without the guilt

Practical language for saying no β€” and sitting with the discomfort of it.

6

Integration & what comes next

A real plan for carrying these tools into the holiday season, not just a goodbye.

Good to know

A few questions, answered

Do I need any art experience?

None at all. The art is a tool for processing, not a performance β€” no one is being graded on the painting.

What does "faith-informed" mean here?

A light touch β€” an optional closing reflection tied to the week's theme. Nothing is required, and it's never preached.

Is this a good fit if I've never done therapy or a group before?

Yes. A short call before the group starts helps make sure it's the right fit and answers anything you're unsure about.

What if I have to miss a week?

This is a closed, 6-week group, so consistent attendance matters β€” for you and for the group. If your schedule is unpredictable right now, let's talk before you enroll.

You don't have to carry all of it alone this season.

Spots are limited to keep this a safe, close-knit group. Reach out and let's see if it's the right fit.
